Sports United goes on-air

Sports United, powered by SportAccord, launched on Euronews on Thursday evening.

We are pleased to inform you that the first episode of Sports United went on-air last night on Euronews in 13 language editions globally.

We thank all those who have contributed content for the pilots and the first on-air version of the show, and look forward to working with all our member federations over the course of the coming weeks and months. Please click on the following link to watch the first episode of the show in English-

Sports United- Episode 1, January 29

Sports United, as the name suggests will be a showcase for all sports to present news, features, interviews and insights from their events and beyond to a captive Euronews audience spread across 415 million households in 156 countries across the world. The show will be composed of six segments, expanding the editorial canvas of the show and will be broadcast in 13 languages (Arabic, English, French, German, Greek, Hungarian, Italian, Farsi, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Turkish and Ukrainian). The show will also be available online on Euronews’ website and the SportAccord Sports Hub on YouTube. The show will be on-air every Thursday from 10 pm CET to Friday afternoon in a cyclical manner.

The first edition of Sports United marked the start of the 2015 sports calendar with news from football, handball, cycling, archery and other sports.
